All around me,
those who pee on the inside wall
of the toilet
to make less noise,
the lily-livered
the self-conscious
the shaving cream wristwatch neophytes
of the world,
zippers only half undone
in case there is need
for a quick getaway,
reading the scribblings
of tooth decay madmen
who sit on your piss -
placid as Buddha -
taking the time
to share their
thoughts
in black
(and sometimes
red)
marker.
