gary c. busha | rhyme tyme

Study facts, relate they must
the strength of glass, the weight of dust;
dissect the brain, determine lust
describe the wind in gale and gust.

Correlate the loosened parts
associate science with the arts;
reign the horses to their carts
with competition progress starts.

Is the profit worth the price?
All knowledge is a form of vice;
a gambling game with loaded dice
with you the loser once or twice.

The student reading with a sigh
encounters both the truth and lie;
continues knowing he must try
and turn the page yet wonder why.
