EINSTEIN AND THE BLACK HOLE
Quantum Theory and the Theory of Relativity
are now in conflict.
As a poet this tells me that ignorant people
are to be left alone, tolerated, pitied, helped
most of all. It is right to educate them.
But physicists are now telling us this:
When ignorant people come and hurt you
with a huge black hole of dangerous
particles, you no longer have a moral
obligation to help and educate.
Your only obligation is to yourself and to
those you can indeed help and be helped
by.
Physicists tell us along the border of a
black hole there are skirmishes.
