LATE SIXTIES

Despising moralists
yet loving Flaubert
in classic heat
reading his god
Baudelaire,
like a child
who believes
like Superman
without Nietzche
he can read on the fly,
going to Caracas
to play maracas
pretends to me
he is a Stasi spy,
talks to me
about Marcuse
Sputnik and Marx
from a Russian newspaper
Iscra “Sparks,”
he lived behind the wall
in a straightjacket
with a replica
of “Bellmer’s Doll.”
