PROSE ACCUSING

This one editor writes
‘We will pass on this
submission;
my co-editor commented
that your 1st poem
was prose
and I agree’

well, call it a
fucking prose-poem
I thought

and use your
fucking imagination

after all

isn’t that what
it’s all about.

  1. With a twinkle in my eye, I will note that Karl Ove Knausgaard (in Volume 2 of *My Struggle*’ if I have it right) had a comment saying that there are poems and then there poems that resemble poems … he seemed to neglect prose poems and poetic prose … just saying, as some say … I really really really really want to like this one so I’m going to say that I do … DaP
