To A Overdue Muse by John Patrick Robbins

To A Overdue Muse

From the whiskey fueled binges to the long nights in between.
You were there when you never had to be.

My words serve me always but they found an audience long before them with you.

And now what will be my legacy was first shown to whom I consider truly my best friend.

I will never be able to tell you my inner thoughts because some vaults are best kept sealed for a reason.

But you have some beautiful eyes and a great ass so cheers to you.

Muse.
