Catch A Snow Flake and two other poems by G. David Schwartz

Catch A Snow Flake

Catch a snow flake upon your tongue
Just as you did when you were young
Don’t you want a cold hug
as you once did my love

Harriet Sims (Made Up Name)

Harriet Sims had two chins
and a very long neck
she has, at last count
twelve big toes and as every body knows
her toes bend the cleft and right
Harry Wackily saw as baroquely
but he did not know where to get or go
in order to get away from the winter snow
So I advised to him
to avoid the wind
and set his nose and mouth
pointing there down south
And just imagine this
All because of her two chins
I got twelve or so lines
hora hora Harriet Sims does shines

I Once Had A Dream

I once had a dream
as cute and Anna Schwartz
and I’m proud to say that
thats a false name of course
But the girl I am thinking of
when I mention here
is the most delicious girl
In the while wide world
