Jewels speak & Four other new poems by Adam Levon Brown

Jewels speak

with Sapphire Synchronicity
in ides of molten ears,

splaying wide the gifts
of Evanescence
into fields of clay

Morphing shadow
creeps to the belonging
of self, harboring
daggers for friends
and poison for self

Intuition passes
the causeways
of renaissance,
sipping itself
into dime-store moon

Perforation on the Lines of Goodbye

Goodbyes settle into self
like two Cherubs sucking
blood from mosquitos
of fate

Cosmic vibrato questions
the universe and lies
on back of supernova

Stilling the comets
in their breeze
to please Saturn
for all of his good deeds

Tiamat spills himself
upon the canvas,
singing hello
to humankind,
birthed
within the confines
of a hero-less quest
to find Nirvana

Diodes on the Sunset Black

Crimson Hail hushes
even in cornea Silence

Falling
horizontally
Purifying
piles of ant-hill
snow to reach
deserts of driven
anger

When Ohm
signals its breath
into conch-blitzed
life

Peace shall
whisper its
name into
ears soothing
the midnight song

Teardrops

mixed with rain
jumble with building
blocks of Firestorm
séance

signing their names
in butter-loop skies
rearranged to pattern
ocean’s preamble

Silence
becomes
the Heavens

And Petunia
bloom sings
its songs
of midnight
blues

Pouting
in the eve
for dew drops
gone missing

Permanence

within rhythm
signals breath

Breath becomes
dust in tides,
sweeping oceans
from past lives
into sands of time

Trees
salvage breath
and return
with beauty
in their eyes

Existing
borderless
bounds trees
in chains,
shining
for truth in the age
of lost reason
