They closed the last toy store.
The world had seemingly lost all its charm and every little bedwetter played with a tablet instead.

The landscape was becoming dull as its newest inhabitants.
There is nothing more strange than seeing a jaded six year old.

There’s just no magic anymore and the horizon was dismal at best.

It was now one stop shopping for all things you needed.
A machine consuming all and killing every other business in its path.

In the future children would view toys just about how they view a landline.

And the pedophiles shed a tear for puppy’s and trinkets were no longer effective.

Fuck a teddy bear I have a iPhone asshole and the cops are on their way.

Well least some things had improved and not all things that became one with the dinosaurs were such a bad thing.

The world didn’t need magic but children damn sure needed happiness and imagination.

Eventually even writers would become a dying breed as well.

I believe when I finally finish this book the world will no longer need books either.
