Kerouac and the Subcomandante
In summer I thought often I saw Jack Kerouac here in his appropriate
Quebecois Heaven, dark hair falling forward to shade his sunshine happiness.
In winter it’s the Subcomandante Marcos, ski mask black of course against
wind on street corners, waiting for a high of Zero.
