Anselm Hollo | 12. April 1934 – 29. Januar 2013
Upon hearing the news of Anselm Hollo’s Death
the news began
to make its rounds
like a handshake
at a funeral
it was not dispersed
by telegrams
or phones ringing midday
in a clang of sadness
not through word of mouth
and human interaction
but through the great immeasurable
authority of computers
the wires and modems
transmitting
the final moments
of the poets life
the poet who transcribed
moments of genuine life
transpiring between
the guests of space
the space in which
we will all leave
when our reservations
have expired
