HOBBIES
I met her playing pool.
We fucked
and played pool
around barroom pool tables smoking hash
out of her snake—head pipe,
as she attracted bikers
and threw her arms around them
and gave them her address.
Bikers began
pulling up alongside of me in the streets,
revving their engines
and leering at me
as I drove toward her house,
and more and more often
bikes were parked in front of her house
when I drove up,
until finally, one day there were a dozen bikes
parked in front of her house
when I drove up.
I decided to take up howling.
