Words Whispered Between Green Sheets by Alex Gildzen

WORDS WHISPERED BETWEEN GREEN SHEETS

Words whispered between green sheets
die there.

My later pen cannot revive
them.

Instead I place rosebuds on
this bed

and pray for our dead
words.

Poem taken from Congress 3 edited by Sam Seiffer and d.a.levy, 1967
