I blew it talking about something that
was important to me.

Passionate love, domestic love, a vision
of Paradise.

If I blew it I blew it effusing, if I blew it
it was my exuberance a month before seventy
that blew it.

If I blew it I was blowing like Trane, I was describing
the invisible, the cure, the joy most don’t get.

If I blew it, I needed to blow it, I needed to remember
what it was I saw and lived, what Love is, can be, should

If she couldn’t handle it she couldn’t handle it.
