Grant Guy is a Canadian puppeteer, stage designer, writer and illustrator. He is the artistic director of ADHERE + DENY, an object/puppet based theatre company. He has designed sets and costumes for both large and small theatre companies between Montreal and Calgary. He has published over 100 poems and short stories in journals and reviews in North America, Europe and Africa. He has five books published, including a pictorial history of ADHERE + DENY (OPEN FRAGMENTS), and his most recent publication is a children’s illustrated book THERE WAS A FARMER’S WIFE. His illustrations have appeared in both hardcopy and online publications in Canada, the United States and Europe. He was the 2004 recipient of the Manitoba Arts Council’s Award of Distinction and the 2017 recipient of th Winnipeg Arts Council’s Making A Difference Award.
