You Can Choke On It
having trouble / but it’s nothing
with swallowing / too much food
hard battle / this cage of physical
gathering spittle / for defence
do I explode / onto the street
onto the night street
where people
are having trouble
do I double
back on breathing
swigging milk / imagining
an easy passage / definitive
divided throat / allowing
comfort /overcoming
