I Never Had A Butterfly Collection
I never had a butter fly collection
They’re just fancy bugs
Just as evil as all the others
With less that a good shoulder shrug
The Most Beautiful Girl I’ve Ever Seen
The most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen was a lot older than a teen.
She was so kind and sweet with a smile which cant be beat
She had eyes which gave up a smile
And she had a face which I’d stare at a while
She was kind
And her voices was fine
And I am always proud
That she stayed mine.
I’m Proud To Be A Vet
I’m proud to be a vet
I’m proud I served in The Vietnam
Era and am so happy that
To Nam I never went
I had a chance once
When my C.O extended a request
But I proudly told him
I was to be discharged
And didn’t want to do to my death.
With The Last Breath I Have
With the last breath I have
I hope I cab say it right
“I love you, honey,”
Not “What for dinner tonight.”

a real; poet wouldn’t go into the army much less be proud of it…
