I Will Wait For You by Ahmad Al-khatat

I Will Wait For You

I will wait
for you
till the day
I forget you
It hurts me
to realize
that you
cannot
forget me
meanwhile
I used to
love you
only ’cause
you had
a thousand
excuses
to break
me in tears
before,
we walked
by the
seashore
for hours
and for
some
reason to
another
our promises
are seen
through the
falling stars
but since
life is
short
they were
unsaid
and waste
the times
by being
drunk with
the wrong
enemies and
friends sadly.
